A little bit about me...

Hi I’m Steve,

3 1/2 years ago I made a life-changing decision to cut alcohol out of my life.

I initially made this decision in order to train for my first Ironman but if I’m being honest with myself I had slowly begun to realise that alcohol was no longer serving me in the way it used to and I wondered who I might be if I took a break.

It was always only going to be for 3 months…..the rest is history. For me, it was the best decision of my life

To quote Billy Connolly: “I wanted to give up whilst it was still my idea.”

I’m not going to pretend it was easy in the beginning, but over time, I began to notice that everything in my life started to change for the better and my mindset began to shift.

Fast forward and now I have no desire to drink. Why would you want to do something you no longer want to do?

I know this now because over that time my health, fitness, mood, sleep, weight, finances, and relationships—both at work and home—improved beyond recognition.

I did this alone but you don’t need to. That is why I trained with the Andy Ramage Training Academy graduating with a Triple accredited diploma in Coaching and Positive Psychology and Alcohol-Free Performance coaching. I now help people do the same thing.

In a world where more and more people are questioning their relationship with alcohol, I started Soberilliant with a goal of helping people realise their true potential and uncover the true magic of what an alcohol-free life can bring. It doesn’t have to be forever either. If you just want to take a break or even get control of your drinking I can help you.

So if you have ever questioned your drinking or are one of the 50 million people in the UK who fall under the category of being a middle lane drinker. Drop me a line for a free introductory call.

Believe me, it’s worth it. Think of it not as “what you are giving up” but rather “everything you have to gain.”

For me, the initial decision was motivated by Ironman training. Since then, It has opened up so many doors.

I have the competed in numerous Ironman and Ultra marathon events including recently competing in a 200 mile continuous foot race over 3 days. I have also certified as a UESCA qualified Ultramarathon coach.

That was initially my ‘Why’ but it certainly doesn’t have to be yours. You don’t have to run 200 miles or even run at all for that matter.

One of the most fulfilling things that happened to me last year was that I have started learning the guitar with my two young boys. Something that during my drinking days and at the age of 51 I would never have dreamed I could do. My new found energy made that possible.

Your “Why” can be whatever you want it to be, and believe me, you don’t need to have a “problem” or have hit “rock bottom” to make this decision.

Without taking a break from alcohol and unlocking my life without it. I simply wouldn’t have opened those doors.

Your doors may be different but trust me they are out there. I’d love to help you find the keys..

Thanks for reading

Steve
